CETI doctor wins award in international gynecological ultrasound competition
Ana Sofia Fernandes, a specialist in Gynecology/Obstetrics at CETI, was awarded in the international gynecological ultrasound competition called “12 Pelvic Sites Contest”, integrated in the scientific project “Ultrasound Assessment of Pelvic Anatomy”.
Around 200 videos from 25 countries entered the competition, with the author’s video, entitled “Pathologic Pelvic Ureter – Transvaginal Ultrasound”, being one of the three most voted for by a panel of experts in gynecological ultrasound.
Ultrasound Pelvic Anatomy - Marathon For Solidarity
This initiative was organized by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome and took place virtually on November 14, 2022, at the 2nd event “ Ultrasound Pelvic Anatomy – Marathon For Solidarity ”.
The profits from this event went to the humanitarian project Shanti Ashram , an organization in India involved in health, education and socio-economic activities in the Coimbatore district.
