Facing infertility is difficult and requires courage. Investing in fertility treatment demonstrates emotional and psychological resilience. Some of the common emotions that result from the failure of a ART treatment include shock, anger and sadness. Accepting and confronting what one is feeling helps to cope with internal and external emotions and pressures. It is natural to feel despair, discouragement and have negative thoughts, so it is vital to focus on finding solutions and to seek help from medical and psychological support networks and decide what the next step should be. It is important to set a limit so as not to remain in eternal expectation and to reorganize priorities in order to continue to give meaning to life. In infertility, one faces a situation that mobilizes negative feelings such as inferiority and low self-esteem, which lead to suffering and frustration. Faced with this reality, Psychology combined with Medicine has the possibility of offering an emotional reorganization of such experiences, with the aim of promoting better adaptation to reality and reducing the suffering experienced.
