He is currently the Clinical Director of CETI – Center for the Study and Treatment of Infertility and of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the CUF Porto Hospital, highlighting some stages of the curricular path:
- 2013 – Founded and directed CETEC (Teaching and Training Center for Surgical Endoscopy) at CUF Porto Hospital and the European Society of Gynecological Surgery.
- 2010 – Director of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Hospital CUF Porto
- 2009 – President of the College of Gynecology/Obstetrics of the Portuguese Medical Association, having created the Subspecialties of Oncological Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine
